Well-connected: a software for better processes
We have developed our t project software further for more economical and more precise tube manufacturing. It can be integrated effectively in the production process, from tube cutting to the shaping of the tubes, as well as the bending. Our solution also processes data from the manufacturing process, which can easily be retrieved online through one of the available ERP systems.
Everything in sight
The software is used together with our t cut cutting machines to determine the length of the cuts. By creating a sequence of cuts there is an automatic improvement to the cutting itself and less waste.
The tubes are given a unique ID to ensure that they are identifiable throughout the whole manufacturing process. The ID is associated with a range of data, such as that for the connection systems or the bending process. The data transfer takes place via an interface with ERP, CAD or other programs.
Bending without collisions or oscillations
With t project the bending is controlled effectively too, for instance through digital collision tests. The machine or tool parameters are delivered online through a CAD program. If robots take over the bending of the tubes they can process the required data for the manufacturing process thanks to the software, without having to reprogram them. The software will also adjust the bending speed to each product, in order to be able to process long tubes with small diameters without generating oscillations. In addition to that, the software module captures the progress of the production and transfers this manufacturing-accompanying data, together with the production quality data (CPK) to a centralized system.
